After testing a lot of products, we have selected the 8 best embroidery machines for 2019 which are mentioned below. In our experiments, we have found these products most consistent in performance and true value for the money.
Brother SE400 Combination Computerized
Do you want a computerized sewing machine that will help you make some amazing creations in just minutes? Are you looking for a highly affordable sewing machine that will let you do custom embroidery? The Brother SE400 provides an amazing level of versatility that many sewing machines just can’t offer today.
If you love to quilt, embroider,… or sew, then this is the machine that can help you do it. With a 4×4” frame and a back-lit LCD touchscreen helping you select each pattern, you’ll be able to take your sewing work to new levels for a price.
The feature that we really loved with this computerized sewing machine is that you can directly connect it with your computer. This gives you access to literally thousands of different embroidery designs that you can directly import into the sewing machine and use in the future.
SINGER Futura XL-400 Sewing and Embroidery Machine
Singer is a well-known company, even outside the sewing/embroidery industry. Their name is practically synonymous with sewing and they have, over the years, produced tons of sewing and embroidery machines, so it would be a shame if we didn’t review one of their newer models. We have recently gotten our hands on one of their 2 in 1 (sewing and embroidery) devices – the Futura XL-400 and here’s our review.
The XL-400 does look nice and… modern and it is not too large of a machine either. Weighing only 23 pounds it’s fairly lightweight too, but aesthetics don’t really mean much if other things aren’t up to the standard.
The Singer XL-400 had some potential – if only it had a LCD display, it would have been a much better machine. The computer requirement drags the XL-400 down into the below-average category, ultimately turning it into a disappointment. There are some good things about this device, but they’re completely overshadowed by illogical design flaws.
Brother PE540D 4×4 Embroidery Machine
While visiting Laura’s Sewing and Vacuum in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, I came across a cute machine with an embroidery hoop attached and Mickey and Minnie mouse all over the front of the column. As it turned out, I was looking at a Brother PE 540D embroidery machine… one of the few machines built for home use that embroiders only.
In addition to the embroidery hoop and… the Disney characters, the Brother PE 540D also has several clearly depicted, easy to follow instruction diagrams telling you how to thread the machine, how to wind the bobbin and how to attach and remove the embroidery hoop.
The finished product, although created on an affordable home embroidery machine, had the appearance of having been done machine in a professional embroidery shop on one of those mega large embroidery machines that takes up ten times the space.
Singer Superb EM200 Embroidery
Embroidery can mean the difference between an everyday piece of fabric and a work of art. If you’re ready to take your craft to the next level, why not consider picking up an embroidery machine, like the Singer EM200?
The Singer EM200 Superb Embroidery Sewing Machine… is a sturdy computerized device that works well for both beginners and experienced embroidery artists. With its included video tutorials and a wide variety of automatic features to save time and hassle, including automatic needle threading and bobbin winding, this is a handy tool that is easy to learn to use.
Additionally, in this embroidery machine, Singer clearly is striving to break through any limits that could stand in the way of your creativity, providing an extra-large workspace and two size options for embroidery hoops. While some users have found that the machine could use more options in size and a clearer computer system, others enjoy its longevity, its ease of use, and its many handy features.
Brother PE525 Embroidery Machine
Since its release, this model has achieved very good sales figures. There were very little additional features to the new one. Upon all indications, a new machine looks much better and it’s still on the same price range. So why not, with the extra peeks.
Seamstresses will benefit… with the 4 x 4 inch embroidery spot this machine has. This is rather large for a home user but useful enough even for a professional seamstress. Another thing is that this machine is a fool-proof machine. Those who are going into embroidery for the very first time in their lives will find it easy to use, because its’ operations are fairly easy to do. One thing that the user can rely on is the clear explanations found in the user’s manual. The machine operates with a steady, rather silent hum which does not distract or dominate your working space.
The Brother PE525 is purely for embroidery purposes only. This means that it does not have regular sewing functions. It comes with an embroidery area measuring 4 x 4 inches. Also with it is an inventory of 70 design patterns which can be placed in any of the 120 frames.
Brother SA226cv Cover Stitch
The coverstitch machine belongs in the serger family of sewing machines. As you would expect, it produces the coverstitch, that series of interlocked loops that you find on t-shirt hems; chain stitches and triple needle cover-hem stitches. And does so at an amazing 1,000 stitches per minute. Is that fast? Well, some machines are faster but your typical sewing machine pokes along at about 300-500 stitches per minute.
Janome Memory Craft 400E Embroidery Machine
The Juki DDL-8700 Industrial Sewing Machine is a single-needle lockstitch industrial sewing machine manufactured for use with light-weight to medium-weight fabric. This makes it ideal for making or repairing a wide range of apparel from undergarments to jackets.
The Janome Memory Craft 400E has 160 built-in embroidery designs,… 6 fonts for monogramming and a USB for importing designs, the possibilities are endless with this machine. The MC400E has a maximum embroidery size of 7.9” x 7.9” and it comes with an extra wide table for expansive workroom.
Four additional hoop sizes are also available.
