If you have acne-prone skin, use a full-coverage, opaque concealer that comes in a pot or stick form. Makeup artist Vincent Oquendo recommends this type of concealer since it has grip and adheres to your skin longer.
But the key to a flawless concealer application comes down to a few things: “Always make sure your skin is hydrated, not flaky, before you apply concealer,” Oquendo says. “Apply moisturizer and a lightweight foundation first, so a bit of your skin’s natural texture shows through. Then, pat on your opaque concealer with your finger to warm up the formula and take away the redness, and top it with a creamier formula to give the skin depth and make everything blend seamlessly.”

Titanium Dioxide… and Iron Oxides of optimized particle sizes provide robust coverage without irritating the skin.Squalane is a powerful emollient
Concealer is kind of the ultimate gateway beauty product. It’s usually your first makeup purchase, right around puberty when acne hits the hardest and you’re desperate to cover up. It can be the start of a rocky relationship — nothing looks worse than having concealer caked around an errant blemish, like a tiny rocky peak capped with snow.
With a bit of trial and error… you can find the right formulation and applicator; I’ve used it in a tube like lipstick, in a tub like eye cream, and, now, with a tiny wand. The way I apply isn’t the only thing that’s changed over time
There are, of course, a few drawbacks. It only comes in three shades: Fair, Light and Medium. Even the lightest shade isn’t that light (and the darkest shade isn’t that dark.) Because of this, it could appear muddy on some complexions; it unfortunately won’t be a miracle product for everyone.
NYX Professional Makeup Concealer Wand

The result is beautiful, natural-looking coverage you can count on.
L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Concealer
I discovered this product accidentally and have been using it since then. Yeah this has has been on my top favorite list since past six months and you will know WHY in a bit. It is a liquid concealer and I never thought liquid concealers could work well until I got my hands on this one. I have been using stick and cream concealers before this. So .. Let us begin with the review
It comes in a clear plastic tube… with a silver cap .The cap has a brush applicator attached to it which is very smooth and gets the right amount of product . Its compact size makes it easy to carry (it even fits into my jeans pocket ???? ) and travel friendly.
Super Blendable concealer perfectly conceals acne, blemishes and dark under eye circles leaving the skin nourished and protected.Oil free and non-comedogenic.Does not clog pores. Discover your true match from amongst 3 flawless shades.
e.l.f. HD Undereye Concealer
At some point in my makeup life I avoided powder under my eyes in a major way. It was aging me terribly and just wasn’t a good idea all around. I discovered Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and proceeded to hate all over it. At the time I was just starting to have issues with dryness under my eyes and was really struggling with how to treat the issue.
E.L.F. Studio High Definition Undereye… Setting Powder kinds reminds me of a cross between Laura’s version and Benefit’s. This is a translucent pinkish powder with a hint of shimmer. The texture of the powder mimics that of any silica powder in the fact it’s silky, applies transparent with a bit of brightening, and has a thinner consistency.
Overall, I can’t rave this one enough! Granted, I still love my Skin Food version and nothing can take the place of it in my heart but this is a cheap, inexpensive way to set concealer, brighten eyes, and create a smooth canvas under eyes for so much less.
Revlon Photoready Concealer
Seriously, I commonly associate stick concealers with really bad formulas and I just feel like they aren’t the best option when it comes to concealing woe under your eyes. Perhaps it’s easy enough to dab on spots and the likes but I’m one for judging concealer for the way it’ll make my eyes look awake, refreshed, and bright and I can’t really get that effect in a lipstick style concealer or at least I haven’t personally found one that does the trick.
Revlon Photo Ready Concealer… is the newest release from the brand that features a formula that promises to conceal and offer a photo ready finish.
Well, can’t complain too much about the stick here as it does fit the contour of my eye quite nicely and does the trick for a quick swipe, blend, and go technique. You can’t rant too much when you’re concealing at such incredible speed eh?
